392 Intro

I suppose this is the red carpet of sorts for this class so I should try and make this interesting. Unfortunately, as you can probably tell from my title "Anthropology 392", I am not feeling particularly clever right now. I will therefore keep it short and sweet. My name is Rachel and I'm in my third year here at UVic studying Anthropology. Like most people I have met in Victoria, I am from Calgary, where I did my first year of university in Psychology. After I split for the west coast I had my first Anthropology class with Professor McGuire and am excited to take another class with her as she is the reason I got into Anthropology in the first place.
